2009 03 - March 4th 2009 - New wet weather gear for the children in the Reception Class

On Wednesday March 4th Joe Lewis from the Somerset Gas Company came to school to present the children with some brand new wet weather jackets and trousers to wear when they are out and about having fun!

To mark this special occasion Joe and all of the Reception Class children and staff went for a walk to the Giant's Chair on the top of Grabbist Hill. They all looked really smart in their new jackets and trousers.

The new wet weather clothing will mean that the children will be able to go out come rain or shine. Although the weather in these photographs make it look as if this was a lovely day...the children did encounter snow and rain on their walk to the top of Grabbist Hill.
